As a manufacturer of gypsum fibre, drywall and flooring systems, NORIT maintains continuous dialogue with professional associations and industry partners. Membership and active involvement in industry associations enable us to identify developments in the construction sector at an early stage, exchange expertise and work together on practical solutions for the industry.
Our activities with professional associations cover a range of areas – from prefabricated and dry construction to surface heating and surface cooling, as well as energy efficiency and sustainable construction.
The Federal Association of German Prefabricated Construction (BDF) has existed since 1961. It is an alliance of 49 manufacturers of prefabricated timber houses. In addition, around 110 partners from the industry sector are affiliated with the BDF as supporting members.
The Bundesverband Flächenheizungen und Flächenkühlungen e.V. (BVF) is the neutral, expert, and established partner for companies in the surface heating and cooling sector. Founded in 1971, the BVF has been dedicated to establishing technical and quality standards for over 50 years. The association represents more than 60 companies involved in system and component manufacturing and collaborates with associations and businesses in related fields.
The Bundesverband in den Gewerken Trockenbau und Ausbau e.V. (BIG) was founded in 1998 under the motto "by companies, for companies." BIG members are committed to strengthening high-quality drywall construction in Germany. As an association of specialist contractors, specialist dealers, and the building materials industry, BIG provides a platform for building valuable contacts and networks.
The GIH represents the interests of independent energy consultants across Germany. The federal association, GIH e.V., is organized on a regional basis. As the umbrella organization for 13 member associations across the federal states, it represents around 5,000 qualified energy consultants, including master craftspeople, technicians, engineers, architects, and scientists.
As a manufacturer of drywall, gypsum fibre and flooring systems, NORIT operates in an environment that is constantly evolving. New technical requirements, changing construction methods, increasing demands for energy efficiency and sustainability, as well as new standards and regulations are shaping the industry.
Dialogue with professional associations enables NORIT to contribute practical experience, identify developments at an early stage and foster dialogue with companies, specialist planners and other industry partners.
