NORIT Underfloor heatings

Efficient heating and cooling for new builds, refurbishment and renovation

NORIT-Underfloor heating combines modern heating and cooling in a single system. As a high-quality surface heating solution, it is integrated directly into the floor and distributes heat evenly throughout the room. In winter, pleasant radiant heat creates a cosy living atmosphere; in summer, the system can be used for floor cooling, providing a refreshingly comfortable indoor climate.

NORIT systems can be perfectly combined with renewable energy sources such as heat pumps or solar systems. This reduces heating costs and CO₂ emissions – making them ideal for energy-efficient renovations, refurbishments and new-build projects.

Your benefits with NORIT surface heating at a glance:

  • Fast installation of NORIT heating tubes using the fixed guide system
  • Click or tongue-and-groove technology – no screwing, no levelling compound required
  • Quick construction progress – ready for floor coverings after just 24 hours
  • 2-in-1-system: heating in winter, cooling in summer

Installing underfloor heating – step by step

Would you like to install your underfloor heating yourself? With proper preparation and a bit of practical skill, installation is quick and reliable. Below is a compact step-by-step guide:

  1. Prepare the first element: Cleanly cut off the protruding tongues of the first element and the entire first row.
  2. Lay the first row: Start in the left-hand corner of the room. Make sure the edge insulation strip is not compressed. Cut the last element to size and insert it.
  3. Start a new row: Begin with the leftover piece in a staggered pattern. Insert the tongue into the groove of the previously laid panel (with adhesive cord). Lay the panel down and close the tongue-and-groove joint using a tapping block. The surface must then be free from dust and dirt.
  4. Apply the primer: Apply the reddish primer evenly using a pressure sprayer. To ensure that all milled channels are fully covered, crosswise spraying from several directions is recommended.
  5. Install the heating pipe: Lay the heating pipe according to the specifications of the specialist planner. Make sure it clicks cleanly into the guide without twisting or kinking.
  6. Pour the filler: Before pouring, check that all pipes are correctly positioned. Use a notched trowel to apply the filler evenly and ensure the required minimum coverage of 3 mm.
  7. Install the floor covering: Once cured, the desired floor covering – whether tiles, parquet or carpet – can be installed without any issues.
