When it comes to the components of NORIT prefabricated dry screed, the principle is: “Less is more.” Our NORIT-Gypsum Fibre Boards consist of FGD gypsum (a pure recycled material) and cellulose fibres from recycled paper. The recycled paper used is of high quality and, together with the gypsum, provides the boards with outstanding stability and compressive strength.
FGD gypsum, in turn, is a pure recycled material, making NORIT-Gypsum Fibre Boards particularly resource-efficient. These two raw materials are processed into a homogeneous mixture and, with the addition of water – without any further binders – formed into stable boards.
Thanks to the use of these environmentally friendly materials, our gypsum fibre board products are well below the specified emission limits. NORIT-Gypsum Fibre Boards are not only emission-free, pollutant-free, and environmentally friendly; they also regulate indoor climate and air quality, thereby contributing to healthy living and working environments.
In addition, they represent an ideal ecological and technical solution for a wide range of applications. The development, production, and distribution of our gypsum fibre and dry construction products are carried out in accordance with our established quality and environmental management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Beyond our gypsum fibre boards, we ensure material health and resource efficiency across all system components of our underfloor heating systems. NORIT underfloor heating is particularly low in emissions during installation – both the filler and the primer are certified with the EMICODE® EC1plus label. This label confirms compliance with the strictest requirements regarding emissions.
