Yes, you read that right: our new underfloor heating system impresses with an exceptionally low build-up height of 23 mm only. Combined with a low surface weight of only 34 kg/m², the system rises to almost any challenge in new construction, renovations and refurbishments. Especially in older buildings, a low build-up height is often hard to achieve without compromising structural performance, quality or acoustics.
With our unique click-system, the prefabricated gypsum fibre boards are easily joined and bonded into a positive-fit assembly using the NORIT adhesive. The matching NORIT-Filler then creates a flat, clean surface for almost any desired floor covering.
Installing the elements requires no screwing and no additional skim-coating, which can save considerable time and effort.
As the heating tubes are installed very close to the surface, our system delivers the desired warmth much faster and more efficiently right where it’s needed. In turn, the accelerated heat-up and cool-down help reduce energy costs over the long term. These energy savings are not only positive for your wallet but also for the environment. Sustainability is a major priority for the design and development of our products: we carefully select sustainable, recyclable materials that can be easily returned to the product cycle. Our gypsum fibre boards are made from FGD gypsum (a pure recycled product), cellulose fibres and water. With these three components, we guarantee material health and transparency along with top quality. In developing this even slimmer system, material efficiency was our guiding principle. As a result, producing the boards – just 20 mm thick – saves a significant amount of raw materials and energy.
