As part of the comprehensive modernization and extension of the Marienheim nursing facility operated by the Spitalstiftung Neunburg vorm Wald, a contemporary and energy-efficient care and retirement home is currently being developed. The project is being carried out in close cooperation with the Steidl architectural office.
Across all three floors – ground floor, first floor, and second floor – state-of-the-art NORIT underfloor heating technology is being installed. A total of around 800 m² of radiant floor heating will be integrated into resident rooms and corridors.
The integrated NORIT surface heating and cooling systems ensure uniform temperature distribution throughout the building, creating a comfortable indoor climate – a crucial factor, especially in modern care and nursing facilities.
During winter, the underfloor heating provides gentle radiant warmth; in summer, the system can be used for active cooling, increasing overall energy efficiency.
With the proven NORIT-fix installation system, heating pipes are securely and precisely positioned in the guide channels – without any screws or subsequent filling work. The innovative click / tongue-and-groove system enables quick installation and ensures rapid construction progress. After just 24 hours, the surface is ready for floor covering and can be finished with the desired top layer.
The NORIT underfloor heating system combines efficient heating and cooling, easy handling, and maximum flexibility – making it an ideal solution for energy-efficient refurbishments, renovations, and new-build projects.
